I have known Angela Plassmann for over 10 years. A longtime resident of Northampton, she has raised her family here, and sent her children to our public schools.

I appreciated the opportunity to work with Angela when she served as Clerk to the City Council. She has the ability to listen actively, and to summarize and articulate the ideas of others. She is skilled at gathering and interpreting data from the Web and elsewhere.

She has demonstrated her willingness to work hard over a substantial period of time, and a commitment to put in many hours to serve the residents of Ward 3.

Angela is strongly committed to social justice and diversity in our city. She embodies Northampton values.

She will listen, ask intelligent questions, and integrate new ideas into her decision-making process.

Angela has the ability to foster trust and confidence, which is very valuable in a City Councilor.

For all these reasons, I believe she can offer the new perspective and new leadership that this city needs. That is why I endorse Angela Plassmann as candidate for Ward 3 City Councilor and hope you will give her your vote on November 3.
